Trek To Hamta Circle

This circular trek to the western face of the Deo – Tibba glacier leads from Chachoga near Manali. To Sethan, villagers are supposed to be migrated from kinnaur. The trail goes through alpine meadows of wild flower lush green forests of oak, Silver Fir. Further the gradual trek towards the glacier and Rauli kholi. From we get the spectacular views of surrounding Himalyas, trek end at Shuru and further drive to Manali
1st Day: Manali to Chachoga then to Pandu Ropa (2700mts.) 5hrs.
It can start from the 1.5 km. Drive to Chachoga village then gradual ascent to Rahni. It will pass through the very dence forest of pine , Fir, and oak. After Rahni the walk is plain up to Pandu ropa. The sethan is Village of Khangpa community, which is migrated from the Spiti,(From Tibet in old days) Khangpa community use to move as nomad of Chang Thang does till now.
2nd Day: Pandu Ropa to Marri (3300mts.) 5 hrs.
trek through the breathtaking land scape and the wild flower meadows cross the river Jobri by bridge to other side of the valley and gradual climb to get a beautiful view of Deo Tibba. Over night camp.
3rd Day: Marri to Piangniru (3900mts.) 4hrs.
The whole area is surrounded by the high summits, hanging glaciers and massive moraine. This is a true alpine zone that we are trekking in.. after noon we spend our time to exploring the surroundings.
4th Day: Piangniru to Raulikholi(3500mts.) 5hrs.
The trek gets little steeper in the beginning. After that the way descends down to the Raulikholi. The local shepherds of Kullu valley can be seen grazing their herds of sheep & goat.
5th Day: Raulikholi to Lamadugh/ Jogi Dugh.(3000mts.) 4hrs.
Jogi dugh occupies a very famous place in the Hindu mythology especially for the local habitants of the valley said to be a holy place of Takshak Nag(serpent God).
6th Day: Jogi Dugh to Tillgan (2900mts.) 4hrs.
Trek along the tree line goes little down to avoid the steep cliff and gain. The little climb to stream. After that trek goes in the horizontal way right up to the camp site tillgan.From Tilggan one can have a tremendous view of the Manali valley.
7th Day: Tilggan to Bhanara then to Shuru/ Manali 5hrs.
Scenic trail descend to Bhanara vill. There is an old temple of Takshak Nag(serpent god) then descend to another historical place Arjun Guffa where the pandavas are believed to have taken refuge during their exile. Get down to road and then drive to Manali.
