Korpan Valley


The Valley has beautiful temples having elaborate architectural work. Its fairs and festivals are very famous.

Bashleo Pass
This enchantingly beautiful pass (3277m), known as the trekker's paradise is a gateway to the Korpan Valley.

Dhar Deo Dhank Cave
Water keeps dropping on the "Shivlingam"(Phallic symbol of lord Shiva) in this cave, and it is a fact that there is no water in the vicinity of the cave.

Nirmand
Nirmand (1360m) is situated in the south of the valley. Once known as a seat of the intellectuals this place has 2 temples famous for its architecture, one of Ambika Devi and the other of Lord Parshuram.

Sri Khand Mahadev(5227m)
This place is famous for its miracle that despite snowfall throughout the year, the snow doesn't remain on the "Shivlingam" but melts down.
